Click Here for a Dance Arts Centre fall 2008 - spring 2009 registration form. Print the registration form and mail into DAC Melbourne at 3240 W. New Haven Ave., Melbourne, 32904. Or stop by in person on August 1st from 6:30pm-8:30pm at the Melbourne studio or August 14th from 5pm-8pm at the Indian Harbour Beach (1855 S. Patrick Dr., Next to S. Patrick Hardware and Lumber) studio for registration and to ask any questions you might have.

No Classes Labor Day

DAC will be closed for the Labor Day holiday on Monday, September 1st. Classes will resume as normal on September 2nd.

Back to School Expo

Thank you to Alisha, Ashley and Melanie who volunteered for the Back to School Expo!!! They spent their day teaching underpriviledge girls dance lessons in a event sponsored by Dance Arts Centre, Heartbeat Boutique, WE Council of Women, Take Stock in Children and Children's Home Society. Each participating girl received a facial from Imperial Salon, a new outfit provided by Heartbeat Boutique, dance lessons and personalized water by DAC, and a meet and great with Ms. Florida!

Non-profit Organization Status

After a year of very hard work, Dance Arts Centre is pleased to announce our 501 (c) (3) non-profit status. Becoming a non-profit organization will open many doors for Dance Arts Centre and our community. We are currently setting up scholarship funds to assist those in financial need. If you are interested in giving a tax deductable donation, please speak with Sarah Balda or email info@danceac.com.

DAC's Annual Recital, Breaking Boundaries

Congratulations DAC dancers on a beautiful show! It was the best yet! Thank you to our guest alumni dancers, Marilu Heldreath, Macaulay Heldreth, Victoria Heldreth and Brittany Evans. It was so nice to have you four back on stage with Dance Arts Centre!

Important Dates for Fall 08' - Spring 09'

• July 28th - August 1st -Dance Arts Centre's Summer Dance Camp. Click on link above for more info.
• August 1st - Registration at MELBOURNE studio from 6:30pm-8:30pm
• August 14th - Registration at INDIAN HARBOUR BEACH studio from 5pm-8pm
• August 25th - Classes start at both Melbourne & Indian Harbour Beach studios
• September 1st - Labor Day, No Classes
• November 26th - 30th - Thanksgiving Break, No Classes
• December 22nd - January 11th - Winter Break, No Classes
• April 6th - 9th - Spring Break, No Classes
• June 19th - Recital Dress Rehearsal at the Henegar Center in downtown Melbourne.MANDATORY for all students participating in the recital
• June 20th - Dance Arts Centre's 2009 Recital held at the Henegar Center in downtown Melbourne

Please note that in case of a Hurricane or other natural disaters, we will operate classes in accordance with the public School Board. Any missed classes will be scheduled for make up as soon as possible.

Tuition Information

• Tuition due by the 10th of each month. Payments submitted on the 11th or after need to include a $15 late charge. This policy will be strictly enforced!
• Tuition is expected regardless of students attendance level. Payment is require to continue to reserve the students spot in his/her class(es). Students are encouraged to make-up any missed class(es).
• All payments need to be made out to Dance Arts Centre.
• Tuition does not include recital fees or costume fees.
• The $20 non-refundable recital fee will be applied towards the students costume payment for the recital held in June.
• Tuition is based on the fiscal year.

Family discount available (this applies only to immediate family). 1st student is charged the full price, each additional child will receive 40% off on their tuition.
Ex. 1st student 1 hr, $52 monthly, 2nd student, 1hr, $31.2 monthly, 3rd student, 1hr, $31.2 monthly.
