Open House

Are you interested in signing your child up for dance classes at DAC? Stop by our Open House and check out our studio space, chat with teachers and get your questions answered. Bring neighbors, friends and anyone you think might be interested in joining the DAC family. The Open House will be held at the MLB studio on Thursday, August 5th from 5pm-7pm and Friday, August 6th from 5pm-7pm.

Now Enrolling for the 2010/2011 dance year

Recital 2010 "Full CIrcle" HUGE Success!

Thank you to all the dancers, volunteers and teachers who made this year's dance concert "Full Circle" a success. All the dancers were beautiful on stage!

Scholarship Applications

Financial hardship scholarship applications are now being accepted. Click here to downloard a scholarship application. Application will be accepted through July 16, 2010 for the fall 2010/spring 2011 season. Applicants do not have to be a current DAC student to apply. If you are interested in making a financial donation to the scholarship fund, or sponsoring a student, please contact Sarah Balda at info@danceac.com

Tropical Storms/Hurricanes/Natural Disasters

We are all hoping, praying and crossing our fingers for a smooth Huricanne season. However, in case a major storm presents itself, DAC runs off the public school schedule. If public schools are open during a storm, DAC will remain open and the reverse applies. Classes cancelled due to a storm will be rescheduled with a makeup date.

Important Dates for Fall 09' - Spring 10'

• 2009/2010 Season Schedule
• August 31st - Classes Resume for 2009-2010 season
• September 7th - Labor Day Holiday, Studio Closed
• October 26th - 30th - Students are allowed to wear a Hallowen costume to their dance class. The costume must be danceable and not shed. NO gory costumes, blood, demons, etc..
• November 25th-27th - Thanksgiving Break, Studio Closed
• November 30th - December 4th - Recital costume measurements at both studios. Please be sure you child attends class.
• December 7th - 11th - Observation week at both studios. Parents, grandparents and siblings are welcome.
• December 19th - January 10th - Winter Break, Studio Closed
• March 12th - Dawn to Dusk fundraiser for DAC scholarship fund
• March 29th-April 1 - Spring Break, Studio Closed
• April 16th-17th - DAC Recital Pictures with Kevin Roberts of Intimate Images. More information will be emailed and posted at each studio
• June 12th - Recital runthru for both studios at IHB studio
• June 18th - 2010 Recital Dress Rehearsal at the Henegar Center in downtown Melbourne. MANDATORY for all students participating in the recital
• June 19th - Dance Arts Centre's 2010 Recital held at the Henegar Center in downtown Melbourne

Please note that in case of a Hurricane or other natural disaters, we will operate classes in accordance with the public School Board. Any missed classes will be scheduled for make up as soon as possible.

Tuition Information

• Tuition due by the 10th of each month. Payments submitted on the 11th or after need to include a $15 late charge. This policy will be strictly enforced!
• Tuition is expected regardless of students attendance level. Payment is require to continue to reserve the students spot in his/her class(es). Students are encouraged to make-up any missed class(es).
• All payments need to be made out to Dance Arts Centre.
• Tuition does not include recital fees or costume fees.
• The $20 non-refundable recital fee will be applied towards the students costume payment for the recital held in June.
• Tuition is based on the fiscal year.

Family discount available (this applies only to immediate family). 1st student is charged the full price, each additional child will receive 40% off on their tuition.
Ex. 1st student 1 hr, $52 monthly, 2nd student, 1hr, $31.2 monthly, 3rd student, 1hr, $31.2 monthly.
